When I'm not working, you can be sure to find me chasing around my fur babies with my camera. They tend to be very uncooperative models for me. Or I might be working on a home renovation project...desparately trying to get our home out of the 90s, although I find my fashion choices migrating to that decade. And sometimes I'm following my husband and step-son around singing showtunes and being the complete goofball that I am...

BECOMING WHO I AM...

Let's face it...I am that theater-loving, immersed in art dork that got picked on plenty in high school and even after. I always seemed to be stuck in the wrong decade, and just not cool enough. Hell, the song "1985" resonated with me and I was born in the 80s. The pressure as a teenage girl to look a certain way, or act a certain way is immense. And that pressure as a woman never goes away. But what I know now, that I wish my younger self knew was that it is okay to be different. It's okay to have interests outside of what is considered popular and mainstream. It is ok to be 100% authentically and uniquely yourself! There is only one you in this world, and boudoir helps capture the unique and beautiful work of art that is you. I always knew what I wanted to make a difference in the world I lived in. Helping others see that what makes them unique, what makes them who they are, body and soul, is beautiful...and sexy...and well...head-turning and jaw-dropping is how I get to do that.

WHY BOUDOIR?

"I just don't understand the purpose of boudoir photography." That is a statement I hear all of the time. So why is this the type of photography I have chosen to do? Well that's an easy question to answer. I love seeing the change in the people I shoot. I love when they start a session unsure of themselves and being able to witness the growth in confidence in such a short time frame. And I love hearing the words, "I never knew I could look like that in a photograph." Your session will not only make a difference in your life, but it makes a difference in mine. It's special and meaningful to help people love who they are. It's easy to hear words from friends and loved ones like, "You're beautiful!" and "You look absolutely stunning!" But I have the distinct honor of SHOWING you that these aren't just words, but the absolute truth.

NOW IT'S YOUR TURN...

It is easy to stand in front of the mirror and pick out are flaws. We only see ourselves from one angle, and we don't get to see what the rest of the world sees. But you deserve to see yourself how others do. You should see the smart, beautiful, loving, and sexy person that you are. There is no better time than now to fall in love with yourself again, to look in the mirror and finally see all the raw power and beauty that you possess. Boudoir photography is an experience that allows you to let go of the pre-conceived notions that you have of yourself. It allows you to have fun, be flirty, be sexy, be who you are. And most importantly, it allows you to love who you are, without hesitation.
